Lolly Squirrel is from a wealthy family. Her father is the owner of the town sweets factory. He pays his taxes and he treats his family, his employees, and his community well.

Lolly doesn't flaunt her wealth, doesn't act like a snob, and likes her friends who are in a lower income bracket.

Back in the 1980s when the economy is booming, Lolly and the other Gang kids don't have any problem getting along.
